Who is Truvi?
Truvi (previously "Know Your Guest" by SUPERHOG) is a risk management platform for the vacation rental industry that helps property managers and hosts reduce the risk of problematic guests, property damage, and fraudulent bookings through guest screening, ID verification, and damage protection.
How does guest screening work?
Guests provide ID and complete a verification process before booking, helping reduce risk.
Can guests see if they're being screened?
No. If a prospective guest does not pass screening the booking will not take place unless you manually accept it. Doing so, however, would void any damage protection plan you have in place.
Can I customize my damage waiver amount?
Yes. You can set your own waiver amount or choose to require a refundable deposit.
Do I need to purchase the $5M protection plan?
The $5M Damage Protection Plan is completely optional and can be added on per listing basis within the Dtravel dashboard.
What happens if a guest causes damage?
You can submit the claim process through Truvi (previously SUPERHOG), who will handle the resolution process on your behalf.
Do I need to handle claims manually?
No. Truvi (previously SUPERHOG) manages the claims process so you don’t have to.
Does this replace a traditional damage deposit?
The Damage Deposit functionals similarly to a traditional damage deposit.
